FRIDAY NIGHT FIX: BANDRA BORN

Located at an unmissable corner in Bandra, is the latest - ‘wanna get a drink location?’ in the area. We reserved our table a little in advance not knowing if Friday night would guarantee us a seat if we decided to walk in.

Here’s all that we ate & drank, and honestly, we could’ve gone on -

🍷DRINKS

💙 Danda Green: I recently found myself liking pandan leaves after I tried them in a coffee at a fest. The drink was a fun combination of gin, pandan, coconut water and lime. Perfectly hydrating and great to get you started off for the night.

💙 Kadak Nimbu Sharbat: A simple nimbu sharbat BUT topped off with Six Brothers Mahura. Mahura is the only liquor made from flowers and I would not recommend it to anyone who hasn’t developed a taste for it. Probably trying it in a different combination would work for some, because this drink was particularly tough on the palate. Wouldn’t say the host didn’t warn us of this. If there are any Mahura drinkers, drop a comment on how you like your drinks!

💙 Zig Zag Nights: Vodka, Pineapple and Cherry Liqueur. That’s it, that’s the drink. The rest the name gives away.

💙 Doppelganger: Saved the sweetest for the end. An actual dessert drink topped with sugary sprinkles, the ingredients were a fun mix of tequila, vanilla, berries & mixed fruit jam. Would not recommend starting off with this, and it also doesn’t really pair well with the food either. But I would definitely opt for it as my last drink of the night.
