This elderly lady(97yrs)warmed our hearts today. Her son mentioned she hadn’t stepped outside of their home for over a year but today she made a request of eating at our restaurant. She walked in with her walker despite the afternoon rain, took a flight of stairs and seated herself.She remembered to greet us with a good afternoon before she placed her order.
I couldn’t resist but take her photograph as memory of her resilience, how people trust the food at Woodland Retreat and how we forget the weight our legs are effortlessly carrying through the day. ❤️
