Halwai Ki Dukan - Sweets,Namkeen,Snacks We're serve authentic traditional food predominantly Rajasthani cusine...Do try you will love it! This was always the place of pride in a Village.

It was here that the generally Fat halwai in his traditional Dhoti and Banyan attire would be seen frying the mouth watering delicacies likeSamosas, Kachoris, Puri bhaji, Chole Bhature and then not to miss the Jalebi rings being formed in the Kadai from his bag of Maida. The Halwai was a very well respected figure and the pride of any Village where any Visitor would be treated to all the different goodies. In those days synthetic Oils were never used. It was always ghee and vanaspati made from the Cows Milk given by the Halwais own Cows. The Halwai’s shop was always the best treat for the Old and the Young. It was like Heaven…..those spicy Samosas, Chole and then topped up with Hot Jalebis with cold rabri. But the citylife changed everything. Gone was the Halwai and gone the great Halwais snacks. In place we saw Street Hawkers yes “Hawks” would be more appropriate dishing out the worst quality unhealthy food made near the Gutters, using Unhealthy Oils and polluted waters. The quality was so bad that people started calling it Junk Food. It was not uncommon for Food Poisoning and people dying in the process. But all is not lost. We never forgot the Halwai and his twirling moustache. We never forgot the Mouth watering Dishes nor the taste we enjoyed. We put together our Old Recipes saved and now bring you back once again the Halwai Ki Dukan

We bring back the Samosas, The Kachoris, The Chole Bhature, The Puri Bhajis and the whole range of sweets like the Jalebi with Rabdi, Gulab Jamuns, The Rasgullahs and the besan and bundi ke moti choor Ladoos.
