the Sanskrit word, 'Jhatiti' which means instantly or quickly. The Jhatka method is essentially a traditional, single-stroke style which was widely used in most cultures and traditions which originated in the Indian sub-continent in the ancient times. It primarily ensured that the bird/ animal had minimal suffering prior to the sacrificing or butchering process. It has also been mandated by the ten Sikh Gurus, along with being officially mentioned in the Khalsa Code of Conduct. Additionally, jhatka meats have traditionally been the preferred choice for meat-eating Buddhists as well. Even recently, numerous European countries have started requesting for single-stroke stunned meats, as part of their import requirements. Our entire range of Chicken and Mutton products is authentically Jhatka-certified and FORT-certified (Free Of Rituals & Torture) by the Live Foundation, Delhi.
