Weekend Recap! Here are some images from our zine workshop at Moira, this past Saturday. We discussed the origins, history, politics and community building aspects of zine-making. By exploring many mediums such as collage, writing and drawing, each of us tried to peice together a zine that explored the role grief plays in our lives. Thanks to all that attended! And to Drill Press Cafe at for hosting us on this afternoon. Lots of coffees were drunk. Lots of friends were made. Lots of ideas were born! (PS - we only cut up and collage with books that could use some rethinking)

Was amazing to discuss the movie from various angles and realising it was so ahead of its time and still is so relevant. Thanks Luke for making this happen along with Paul ❤️

Venita Coelho is a woman of many talents - she is an artist, writer, director and all things creative! She also happens to be our neighbour and the most regular visitor at the cafe. She is working on her new book here and hopefully our coffee is playing a good role in the process 😉
