Thanks For The Post
・・・
This place was on my mind from quite sometime and today i finally decided to go there with my ammi for dinner.
, situated at Lalbagh (100 metres away from Islamia College) serves a wide range of offerings but mainly focusing on awadhi and mughlai cuisine.
As soon as you enter this place, you will be surprised to see how wonderfully it is decorated with some amazing wall art, vintage chandelier, crafted glass work, wooden flooring and comfortable seating.
Ambience Rating: 5/5
Now comes the main part that is FOOD and i decided to go as per my wish after going through their entire offerings and we ordered and for starters and in main course we ordered , ,and .
In bread section, we decided to have and for desserts we opted for .
Chicken Afghani was simply scrumptious and Hallauri kebabs were also quite amazing in taste (It was more like chapli kebabs, not the regular melt-in-mouth galawati kebabs)
Starter: 4.5/5
Chicken Handi was hands down the best ever i had of lately. I am a hardcore non-vegetarian still i tasted the gravy of Paneer Butter Masala and it was pretty decent with a dominant taste of amalgamation of tomato puree & cashew nuts and smoked in butter to perfection.
Main Course: 5/5
Mutton Biryani tasted some what like *Pulao* and i gave them the suggestion of adding some more garam masala and khushboo ka masala (javitri, jayfal, choti elaichi) and dropping some kewda water and meetha itr for taste and aroma purpose.
Rice: 3.5/5
Peshawari Naan was simply brilliant with the perfect crispness from outside and tender from inside due to proper kneeding of the dough in warm milk and addition of moderate amount of khoya in it. It was little sweet in taste but goes amazingly well with the dishes i ordered.
Bread: 5/5
Shahi Tukda was icing on the cake from their side and it made the dinner end on a high with a craving of going there again and again 👍🏻
Dessert: 4.75/5
Lucknow is again blessed with another gem of a place ❤️ Highly recommended 😊
