Here's a poem about bankers:
In suits of power, they sit and sway,
The masters of money, day by day.
Their ledgers and columns, a world of might,
As they weave a web of financial light.
With every transaction, a tale unfolds,
Of fortunes made and empires told.
They dance with numbers, a waltz so fine,
Their calculations, a symphony divine.
But amidst the glamour, a truth is found,
Their work is not just numbers, but people around.
The dreams they finance, the hopes they hold,
The futures they shape, with each deal to mold.
They are the guardians of our financial fate,
The stewards of growth, the architects of state.
Their decisions, a delicate balance to strike,
Between risk and reward, a tightrope to hike.
So here's to the bankers, with all their might,
May their calculations be guided by what's right.
May their love of numbers be tempered with care,
And their pursuit of profit, be balanced with fairness to share.
