Hosted them octogenarian brother duo, 86 π 88 π Their daughter Sharmila and son in law Debarshi from Denmark had planned a family get together at Manzilat's. On their arrival they discovered that there's no lift and the climb is pretty high. But the seniors were determined to walk up and not go back hungry, so there they were and how π₯°π₯°
It was wonderful meeting such enthusiastic foodies, I so totally felt humbled by their love and appreciation and most importantly their sporting spirit that I had to share with my followers on social media. They are my seniormost guests whom I have hosted in my 6 years of food and hospitality service.
I take this opportunity to remember and thank some more senior patrons who have graced my modest home dine space and blessed me with their love. I have a very strong emotion for elderly people perhaps because I was close to my parents, somewhere I see my Bawa and Amma in them and I wish to pour out all my love in that moment when they arrive in my terrace. ππ
I felt a lump in my throat and tears welled up specially yesterday when I saw them land on the 4th floor grappling to hold the door or table for support.
There is magic in the way food binds and connects with people, it's a different sentiment, it's an overwhelming feeling. The best earning of running a food business, I would have been deprived of this incredible admiration, blessings and love of my patrons had I not set foot on this journey.
Forever grateful β€β€π
