An evening at our little family-run cat café 🐾✨
What starts with turning the lights on somehow turns into hours full of kitchen chaos, cats demanding attention, customers turning into friends, and so much love being shared in one tiny space.
Somewhere between the rush, the food, the cuddles, and the cleanup… we still find ourselves pausing sometimes and thinking, “wow, this really became our life.” And honestly, we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Thank you for supporting our little dream, our homemade food, and most importantly, our rescued cats who make this café feel like home every single day 🤍

After what feels like forever, our Assamese Pop-Up Lunch is finally making a comeback at Mrs. Wilson’s Cafe and we truly could not be more excited!!

The first time we hosted one was a long while ago, and ever since, we’ve been wanting to bring it back with a lovingly curated summer menu, more stories, and even more heart.

But this pop-up means a little more to us than just serving good food.

This lunch is also a small fundraiser for all our kitties; the café cats we care for every single day, and the many street cats we continue to feed, neuter, vaccinate and rescue. Because the truth is, rescue work never really pauses, and neither do the expenses that come with it.

So this time, we thought what better way to raise a little help than through something as warm and personal as home-cooked food?

Every dish on this menu will be cooked lovingly by the café owner’s Assamese mother, making this an intimate hosted meal where each course comes with its own story; its roots, its season, and why Assamese food is made the way it is
This is not just lunch; it is an afternoon of food, culture, conversation and community.

And if this fundraiser pop-up becomes a success, we would love to keep doing many more such regional lunches at the café to help support our ongoing rescue work.

A few things to keep in mind:

• We will be hosting only 16 guests.
• Reservations will be confirmed only upon advance payment.
• Bookings close on 13th May.
• A payment QR code will be shared once you confirm your presence.
• Guests will be seated in the company of our resident café cats.

Welcome to our everyday lunchtime chaos at our family-run rescued Cat Café.🤗
Every afternoon begins with prepping and cooking everything from scratch, while our rescued little hosts get ready to welcome their favourite humans.
Soon the kitchen gets louder, counters get messier, warm plates start making their way out, and our cats begin their own shift; going from table to table collecting pets, cuddles, and stealing hearts.
Serving fresh warm food and creating this cozy little experience for our customers is exactly what we love the most.

Summer always takes us back to our holidays in Bangkok
And honestly, what better way to relive those memories than with a comforting plate of our favourite, Phat Kra Pao!!🌶️
This isn’t the “authentic” version, it’s our version. The one we fell in love with on our trips, the one we keep going back for, and the one we’ve recreated here with our own touch, to serve at our little Café.❤️
We pick up fresh ingredients from the market, cook everything in-house, and yes… our fish sauce is straight from Bangkok (we may or may not have hoarded bottles for the café 😅). Every plate is made with care, and it genuinely brings us so much joy to cook this for you.
Our Chicken Phat Kra Pao is available on the menu every single day and we’d love for you to try it ✨

Part 2 of a day at our little cat café—when the doors open and everything we’ve prepared for finally comes to life.
From the quiet of the morning to a room slowly filling with conversations, clinking cups, and soft purrs… this is our favourite part of the day. While we’re busy in the kitchen and at the front, there are these gentle, beautiful moments unfolding all around us, first meetings, hesitant pats turning into cuddles, and cats choosing their people for the day.
Being a pet-friendly space makes it even more special. We get to meet so many furry visitors, each with their own little personalities, adding even more warmth to an already full room. In between the rush, these are the moments we hold onto.
By the time evening rolls in, we’re tired but full of stories, laughter, and quiet joy. We wrap up, tuck our little ones into bed, and take a second to soak it all in.
Just a simple, wholesome day at our rescued cat café. And we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍
