On 27th May 2017, We nervously yet with excitement opened our doors to welcome people and tourists of Kalimpong to explore the wonderful cuisine from the Land of Thunder Dragons, Bhutan 🇧🇹.

We had no idea how well and how far we would be able to make, but we were sure to serve the cuisine in most authentic, high quality and affordably priced.

Through these last 8 years, we have been able to serve you all and in return we received love and support which we are ever grateful.

Here’s to many more years of serving this exotic cuisine to the town.

29th May 2024 marks our 7th year into existence and serving our town, Kalimpong.

We went through the best days, the shut down days of agitation & pandemic but the love and support throughout those times are the reasons for celebrating our glorious 7 years into the business.

The Za Khang team sincerely thank all our patrons and customers. Without your appreciation and support, we wouldn’t have existed. To many more years of serving the mighty Land of Thunder Dragon’s cuisine.

On 24th March ‘24, We had the honour of hosting Dagmo Kalden Dunkyi Sakya, wife of the 42nd Sakya Trizin Rinpoche, accompanied by her Father and her 2 Jetsunmas and Dunsey Rinpoche for Dinner. It was a great pleasure to have them and enjoy our authentic Bhutanese Cuisine.

We definitely look forward to their presence in the future and have the opportunity to host again.
