Sparseeing is a Photo book created from pictures that were taken by Keki D. Gazder, a resident of Bharucha Mansion and a contributor to the growth and expansion of Jamshedpur as the head of Tata Locomotives and various aspects of the social circles of Jamshedpur.
the pictures take span from the 1930s to the 50s . It's a unique paraee viewpoint peak into the past.
the old pictures were saved by Basu and a lovely (part fiction) story woven around it by Joyona Medhi throught the support of the Alkazi Foundation, without which this would not be possible.
the book is sold out at the moment and will be available again shortly.
The pictures were so well received, Tata Trusts Art Conservation turned it into an exhibition of three cities.
