Last month the kitchen was full of laughter, stories, and the wonderful aromas of food being cooked together. Teaching these cookery classes has been such a joy — especially with such warm, curious, and enthusiastic people around the table.

Watching everyone chop, stir, taste, and slowly gain confidence in the kitchen is always the most rewarding part. Thank you for making the experience so special.

25 years later… and some things never change.

Meeting today took me straight back to my days at The Oberoi Grand. I was just a young learner in the kitchen, and though he trained me only for a few months, his hands-on style of teaching left a mark that never faded.

It’s funny how a few months of the right mentorship can shape years of your journey. Today, as I run my own kitchen and cook for so many, I know a small but meaningful part of that foundation was built by him.

Grateful for teachers who don’t just teach recipes… they teach you how to think, how to taste, how to lead.

And how beautiful that today, through his own culinary school so many more get to experience that same passion and discipline.

My first ever Thanksgiving supper club… and what a night it was....

Under a star-studded night sky, we gathered around the table for an evening that felt exactly like Friendsgiving should — easy laughter, shared plates, long conversations, and that comforting sense of belonging (very Central Perk, just outdoors).

The menu was all about Thanksgiving comfort — hearty, nostalgic dishes meant to be passed around, savoured slowly, and enjoyed with people who feel like family. No fuss, just honest food made for togetherness.

A huge thank you to the beautiful people who came with open hearts (and big appetites) and made the evening so special. And the warmest gratitude to and of — the most gracious hosts — for trusting me to cater my very first Thanksgiving supper club and for creating such a magical, heartfelt experience.

Grateful... And still smiling.

A table, shared stories, and the flavours of Goa ...
This afternoon was about slowing down, cooking together, and letting food do what it does best — bring people closer.
Teaching Goan food to such warm, curious souls and then sitting down for lunch together felt deeply special.
I shared a little of my heart and my passion, and in return I took home smiles, conversations, and full hearts.
