"Glocal" Butter Chicken
This dish needs no introduction.

Butter chicken was developed in 1947by the founders of the Moti Mahal restaurant in Delhi. It was made 'by chance' by mixing leftover chicken in tomato gravy, rich in butter and cream. In 1974,a recipe was published for Murgh Makhani. In 1975,the English phase 'Butter chicken' first appeared in print as a speciality of the house at Ga***rd Indian Restaurant in Manhattan.
