This is when he started loosing interest in his first job with a company “Ceasefire” that he had joined only few months back as a BDM. He decided to open a food outlet and seek his brother’s help who was living in Australia and working as a qualified chef. Co - Founder “ Danny Alagh “

Born & Brought up in Gurgaon, Food and Art Lover, An Australian National and a proud Indian, A qualified Chef and A professional Fashion Photographer. Danny was never in to books and instead loved Music, Martial arts during school time, Cooking experiments at home, Love for Cameras and gadgets since always. He started his carrier at an early age of 17 working with BPO’s and in few years landed at the New Delhi airport working with an International airline. There is when he decided to move to Australia to explore and study food which he enjoyed always. After completing his Culinary degree in 2012 from Cambridge International College and training with Sheraton Hotels in “Perth” Western Australia. He soon joined Hotel Travel-Lodge and also decided to fulfil his passion for Photography alongside his full-time job. Later joined Nandos as the Front Griller and Store Manager. It was already 2 years, he was living photography and working with Nandos when he received a call from Pankaj about his interest for opening a food Outlet. This is when Danny decided to move back home and help his brother setting up his dream which they named “ Sandburg Shakes “ where every step matters in creating a perfect dish completing with a sprinkle of passion & fun. Pankaj took care of the Finance, Admin and Construction where Danny started working on the menu, kitchen and marketing. Sandburg was finally launched on 28th June 2015 in Baani Square Sec-50 Gurgaon. They Soon became popular for their Burgers , Breadwiches , Shakes and freshly roasted premium arabica coffee. Got featured in "Kickass Burger collection" on Zomato as one of the top burger places in NCR. Also got nominated couple times as the best American Restaurant. Today Sandburg is among the popular names in the city and the founders solely Credits their success to their customers for the immense love & support they received throughout this journey of making Sandburg what It is today. Our Story

Sandburg’s first store was opened on 28th June 2015 in Baani Square, Sector-50, Gurgaon with an idea of two brothers to serve delicious Gourmet sandwiches, burgers and shakes in town. The aim was to be able to cater to different taste buds of the customers around, the menu is an entourage- offering something or the other for everyone. In three years’ time, the brand has become popular for serving sinful and indulgent meals with freshly roasted premium Arabica coffee. An imperfect dish doesn’t stand a chance to land on your plate here. Expect thick, succulent, handmade patties, perfectly cooked meats and veggie treats that are sure to leave your taste buds relishing and wanting to relish more and more as you step into one of the stores. Gluttony attains salvation here! The credit to the brand’s success goes to the customers for their immense love and support Sandburg got to receive throughout this journey of making Sandburg what it is today. "We could not have done it without your support!" say the founders. Founder "Pankaj Alagh” I did my MBA in Marketing & Finance from IIPM, New Delhi. Can do anything for good food, road trips and movies. I love gorging on Maggi and munching on crackers while catching up on the latest releases every other night. I developed my passion and love for food while watching reality food shows and a popular series "Eat Street" on Fox Life. This is when I started losing interest in my first job that I had joined only a couple of months back as a BDM. I decided to open a food outlet and sought my brother’s help who was living in Australia back then and was working as a qualified Chef. Founder “ Danny Alagh “ I was born & brought up in Gurgaon. It is safe to say I am a food and art lover, an Australian national, a proud Indian, a qualified chef and a professional fashion photographer. I was never into books and loved Music, Martial arts during school time instead. Numerous cooking experiments at home, my love for Cameras and gadgets had always stood by me. I started my career at an early age of 17 working with BPO’s and in a few years, landed at the New Delhi airport working with an International airline.
