An infant brand in 1977, taking advantage of the Cola exit, virtually dominated the soft drink industry for 15 years. The brand's slogan was "The Great Indian Taste", an appeal to nationalism. The supply then was limited around NCR region and the metropolitan cities. Ease in the entry to the Indian market led to resurgence of Coca Cola from '93 onwards. Campa had to shut down operations in 2001 and the drink was hard to find. Nevertheless, happy to be here, AGAIN.
