It’s saddening to see how today’s younger crowd is becoming obsessed with “rice beer” without truly understanding the tradition and culture behind it.
Many consume it simply because of its make them high and easy availability in areas like Safdarjung, often leading to irresponsible behavior and even people vomiting on the roads.

As a responsible business owner and citizen, I have decided not to serve any kind of rice beer to student crowds.

Haaz (Xaaz) is not just a drink, it is a part of our heritage, culture, and togetherness.

Traditionally, it is enjoyed with meals, shared around one table with friends and family, with respect for the culture it represents.

At Oh! Assam, we believe in preserving the authenticity and dignity of our traditions, not promoting unhealthy trends.
