Bengali Style Mutton Curry is not just a curry, it’s a Sunday emotion.
If you grew up in a Bengali household, you know the smell. Mustard oil smoking, whole garam masala crackling, mutton slow-cooking till it falls off the bone, and that big, golden potato that has soaked up all the jhol. That’s Mangshor Jhol.

It’s not the thickest curry, not the spiciest, and that’s exactly why it’s so loved. It’s a light, soulful, slightly thin jhol that is deeply aromatic, where the meat is the hero. No cream, no cashew paste, no overpowering masala. Just mustard oil, slow-cooked onions, ginger, and patience.
What makes it truly Bengali? Two things.
1. The Alu: The potato is non-negotiable. Fried golden in mustard oil and simmered in the curry till it’s soft and melt-in-the-mouth. Many Bengalis will fight you for that one piece of alu over the mutton itself.
2. The Mustard Oil and Ghee Finish: It starts with pungent mustard oil and ends with a tiny spoon of ghee and garam masala. That combination is pure nostalgia.

This is Benji’s Style Chicken: tender chicken bathed in a bold, aromatic gravy, slow-simmered with hand-picked spices until every bite bursts with flavor. That deep red color? That comes from love, patience, and the perfect roast of masalas.
Garnished with fresh coriander and green chilies for that signature kick.
One spoonful and you’ll know why this one’s a house favorite ❤️

Indulge in Benji's Mughlai Chicken Korma which is a culinary masterpiece, slow-cooked with almonds, fragrant spices, and yogurt, with a twist of smoking the chicken while still raw, resulting in a heavenly taste.
