Both of them were fond of reading books on Ayurveda and ancient herbs from their school days and were surprised at how this vast ancient wisdom was lying untapped and unappreciated. Combined with their quest for a perfect refreshing cup of chai and their passion and love for bringing the goodness of our own Ayurvedic herbs back to the urban Indian, Chaiyum came to being. An idea that sparked the need to create healthy, herbal and tasty beverages and making them available to people at a reasonable cost at their offices or institutions.
