Yes, you read that right. Tthe authentic flavours of Madhuram Vilas have travelled all the way from Coimbatore to Tokyo, Japan. Recently, a group of Japanese tourists visited our restaurant in Coimbatore while exploring the city and nearby destinations. During the visit, one of the tourists shared his delightful experience of enjoying a traditional South Indian meal at Madhuram Vilas.
He loved the taste of the food, appreciated the generous portions, and was pleasantly surprised by the affordable price. He also shared how a similar meal in Japan could cost around 2,000 to 3,000 yen.
The traditional vettiver drink served at the end of the meal was another memorable part of his experience. Its unique flavour and connection to Indian tradition made his visit even more special.
