Jeera Rice
Ingredients
1. Basmathi Rice – 2 cups
2. Bay Leaf – 1 nos
3. Cloves – 2 nons
4. Cinnamon – 1 stick
5. Jeera – 10 to 15 gms
6. Onion – 1 medium
7. Green chilly – 1 nos (add more if you want it more spicy)
8. Ginger garlic paste – 1 table spoon
9. Coriander leaf – as needed
10. Ghee or Butter – as needed
Step #1
1. Clean the rice
2. Soak it in water for 10 mins

Step #2
1. Take a cooker and heat it with some butter or ghee
2. When it is hot, add split green chilles, bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon , jeera, onion and ginger garlic paste
3. Fry them till onions turns golden brown
4. Add some salt to taste
5. Add the rice drain all the water
6. Fry it on medium flame for 2 to 3 minute
7. Now add 3.75 to 4 cups of water (1 cup of rice add 2 cups of water or little less )
8. Close the lid
9. Let it cook for 10 to 15 mins as required on a medium flame
10. When cooked and pressure is released, add freshly cut coriander leaves
