Trump attempting to drive to 'an island' to collect the 'garbage people' who live there... he's in the passenger seat. Should he not be in the back of the truck?

Thanks Guru-ji. The diatribes were eerily similar. A Closing Carnival of Grievances, Misogyny (Misogyny refers specifically to a hatred of women. The word is formed from the Greek roots misein (“to hate”) and gynē (“woman”), and Racism aimed at a hungry angry mob. No doubt many folks share feelings of being sidelined, disenfranchised, or simply pi**ed that others appear to be doing better or having more opportunities than they themselves enjoy. According to psychology, envy and anger towards others who appear to be doing better is a natural human emotion often rooted in feelings of inadequacy, comparison, and a perceived lack of personal value, which can manifest as resentment and hostility. I personally only know 15 or 20 friends who are adamant in their unwavering support for Trump and Trump supporters. Choosing to support 'personalities' dictated by one's emotions for highly consequential power positions seems to be a fools errand. I come from a republican family where for decades, the 'red boxes were automatically checked with no regard to issues that I was aware of. My dad, for over 20 years starting with Nixon, Goldwater and their ilk, not only supported the republican party, but was often a senior organizer especially for Barry Goldwater's bid for the presidency, My dad and much of his generation had seen and suffered to the national divide stoked by McCarthy and his attempts to 'out' anyone he thought was an agent for or sympathizer with 'The Reds'. McCarthyism, also known as the Second Red Scare, was the political repression and persecution of left-wing individuals and a campaign spreading fear of communist and Soviet influence on American institutions and of Soviet espionage in the United States during the late 1940s through the 1950s. If one attempts to delve into a more accurate recounting of our past 100-year history as it resonates with our current political narratives, I believe the rote, knee-jerk tendency to feel that 'our man' or indeed 'our woman' can do no wrong, might be re-examined with a more sober awareness. Will it change the choices made? I doubt it, at least in the numbers that might swing any political outcome. Human nature seems rather re****ed 90% of the time. Human bi-peds, all at first glance, seem to belong to the same progeny of highly evolved apes. We are not. We have lost much body hair and have learned to walk upright, but little seems to have changed from our past attempts to survive in the jungle. I hope you all vote based on your higher values of love, inclusivity, community for ALL OF US, forgiveness and the fortitude to make your decisions with facts and not rumors or here-say. No matter what the outcome after November 5th, the next days, weeks and months after the election will find most of us looking to see that we are still the same people. There may be (will be) resentments, disappointment, finger-pointing, exhilaration, celebrations and attempts to disprove outcomes. Stay centered, hug your friends, invite buddies over for dinner and try not to demonize others who have made different choices. Freedom to choose your own unique lifestyle & the freedom to pursue YOUR TYPE of happiness is where we all should be focused... I wish you all a joyous and adventurous next few weeks... -I'll be in INDIA !

This passage was written for a gathering of friends that will take place tomorrow in Goa, India celebrating the life and love of our friend FALI HEERJEE...

-FALI’S FAREWELL- - A warm Hello to all of you. A warm hello to all of the dear friends of Fali. A very warm greeting to all of the musicians as well as the dancers and swooners who were the foundation and lifeblood of our friend Fali’s life.
This group gathered here must be one of the jusiest and alive groups of friends gathered to share our love and appreciation for how Fali brought us together, He brought us together thru music, dinner parties and gatherings of all sorts. He brought us together with an ease because of his natural way of wanting to share what turned him on. Always gracious with his compliments, I would always request his participation as an ‘MC’ when it came to introductions of performers and artists at OMistico. He was ALWAYS ready to share an insight here and there, an historical note, or his first person knowledge of the person he was praising at the moment. Omistico- our cultural & performance center and restaurant would most certainly not have thrived without Fali’s unending enthusiasm and support - He was part of almost every event or performance our restaurant and nightclub produced during our Ten-Year run. Omistico always had the flavor and loving aroma of Fali and the crowds he would bring- crowds that loved to follow him around as excited children might flock to the new circus in town. He was a natural- his ever-present cigar, mostly unlit was either firmly held delicately between his lips or failing that, be used as a tool or baton to direct our attention to a point he wished to make just as a symphony conductor keeps the musicians moving in harmony. He was our beloved conductor…
‘CLOSE, BUT NO CIGAR’ is a phrase that originated in the mid-20th century when ci**rs were given as prizes at carnival games. Fali often would tell me that “I never smoke more than one cigar at a time…” His humor was often self-deprecating- he always effortlessly lifted up others, preferring to let the limelight fall on those he wished to support…. I never, ever had heard him utter any poisonous gossip about others in the over 55 years that we knew each other. We first were introduced to each other by Laxmi- Rajneesh Osho’s first secretaries back in 1970. Our friendship grew over the decades, but the turning point was when he let it be known to Laxmi that he knew of a property in Koregaon Park, Poona, India that was coming up for sale. He arranged the sale taking no commission and the rest is history. Fali would often be an invisible alchemist, slightly hiding behind the curtain massaging the needed elements to make life happen- to the benefit of many. In Closing, I want to hug and hold each of you to comfort the loss of one of the most unique fellow travelers we all came to love. Our appreciation of this man will most certainly grow as his absence sinks in. “CLOSE, BUT NO CIGAR?” -NEVER SAY THAT. Keep him close and remember him every time you see someone deeply inhaling a ‘stogie’, lost in the or**sm of their inner delight. All is good… Before you all depart this evening, introduce yourself to some here that you don't yet know by saying “Hello there friend- Fali wanted us to meet” and then have a hug. He is still with us. Swamy Lovebaba Harideva (HD)
