Learn all about pure spices, homemade masalas, layering and blending of flavours, and Indian cooking methods that will allow you to create a multitude of Indian dishes. Bonus kitchen hacks!
We will be making: Thali
1) Classic Daal Palak - spinach and lentil (which includes the recipes and method for creating a variety of other lentil dishes)
2) Paneer butter masala- indian cottage cheese in a spiced creamy base gravy.
3)Masala Aubergine - fennel and coconut masala
4) Beetroot Pooriyal - made with urad daal, spices and coconut
5) Aromatic, tumeric basmasti rice, with lentils in it, topped with fried onions (Biriyani Style Rice)
6) Bonus! Learn how to make a Chai and Chai masala!
* When: Wednesday 24th April, starts at 9am to 2:30pm, (includes time to enjoy the delicious meal we created together)
