Renown Journalist, writer, news anchor and an entrepreneur founder of "folktea festival"Mr. Mrinal Talukdar visited Marnoi Dhaba yesterday evening with his daughter. It was a great pleasure to meet him and treat him with one of our signature item Mutton Kosa. Both father and daughter loved our food quality, cleanliness and our hospitality. I have presented him a book written on my father.

Alokesh Chakraborty, from Tezpur, calls me “Mama” because, at one point, he was the teacher of my nieces and nephews in Tezpur.
When I opened Marnoi Dhaba, he was working in Jorhat and had always hoped to visit the dhaba someday. Recently, he was transferred to Biswanath Chariali, and his wish to have a meal at Marnoi Dhaba finally came true.
But his wish did not end with just one meal. He visited Marnoi Dhaba several times, accompanied by his mother and sister, to enjoy our food. What touched us most was that he brought a book as a gift for the small library at Marnoi Dhaba.
He gifted us the book a few days ago, but due to my busy schedule, I am sharing this beautiful gesture with everyone a little late.
Marnoi Dhaba is not merely a dhaba or a place to eat. For many, it is an emotion—a feeling of belonging and love.
This affection, this love and this emotional connection are our greatest inspiration and our strength. ❤️
