Some of the best ideas in hospitality are not created inside boardrooms.
They are born through conversations, collaborations, and customer memories 🥭✨
The seed for Hallimane’s Mango Mela was planted during an inspiring discussion with Naveen Suresh and Vinay Satyam from Monk Studios , where we brainstormed how mango delicacies could be curated in a way that kindles childhood summer memories.
That thought became even more exciting during the mango food trail we hosted with Shrinidhi Hebbur , where we brought together multiple mango specialties into a feast-style experience for his followers and the food community.
Several food bloggers joined in, and a special mention to Teju ( ), whose video of the mango food trail went viral. ( https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cd5RJpyh5Up/?igsh=MTNpM2w4eW95cXRwMw==)
That viral response pushed us to rethink the experience entirely.
One question kept coming from every guest and caller:
“Can you make this into a full Oota format?”
That single customer insight led to what has now become our signature “Mango Oota” concept.
And that journey has brought us to the 5th year of Mango celebrations at Hallimane 🥭
This year, our Mango Mela will be served across 3 locations:
📍 Malleshwaram – Hallimane
📍 Arekere – Dose Camp
📍 Banaswadi – Dose Camp
🗓️ Running for nearly 2 months, until the end of May 2026
What started as a creative discussion has now become a seasonal tradition that families wait for every year.
That is the beauty of food —
it begins with memories, grows through community, and becomes a celebration.
