THE MANGALOREAN celebrates 'Novein Jowan'(new meal) on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021. The restaurant will remain closed. Only take away orders and parcel service available on 8th.

Similar to the other harvest festivals of this season, the Mangalorean Catholics celebrate it on the 8th of September which is also celebrated as the feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A host of vegetarian delicacies are prepared for the feast, some of them exclusively for this day and ending it with a delicious vorn ( moon dal payasam)
