Buffalo Back Collective

Buffalo Back Collective The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of huma Personally for us food can never be “Business”.

We are a small group of people working with marginal farmers, Co-operatives, farmer groups and Self help groups collectively towards sustainable practices. We work on a hybrid model where the maximum benefit of what is paid by the consumers is passed on to the farmers and we are continuously working on keeping the overheads to the bare minimum. We strongly believe that our daily choices for a sust

ainable future can truly make a big difference and have our, what is normally called “Business practices” care for more than just profits. Kai Thota Initiative Update: Last week saw the Ragihalli farmers learn the art of making biochar from mulberry sticks which are usually discarded by burning. An important soil amendment, this helps in water retention as well as increasing microbial activity. With final few slots remaining for subscription, we head into customizing the kai thota and preparing the list of veggies so that we can get native veggies on your plates.
