In 1848, a British botanist disguised himself as a Chinese merchant and smuggled much sought-after tea out of China. It was one of history's boldest acts of industrial espionage, and also how Chinese tea reached Indian soil.

People have gone to extremes for good tea, that's how much it's always been loved. We've simply taken it several notches further. Every cup we serve comes from our own plantations, brewed the way we believe tea deserves to be treated.
