Passionate about Tea. Yes that's how this whole idea of Black Leaves came about.
I am a tea lover who savors a cuppa of good tea in its various avatars - organic,black, green, white, with milk, and so on.
Having married into a family which has its root in the state of Assam, the originating place of tea cultivation with highest production in India, I felt like sharing my passion with my discerning friends who have a penchant for finer things that life occurs.
Tea is a soul drink - in the monsoon on the patio watching the raindrops rushing down, in the winters from the coziness of the quilt, in the spring sipping the golden brew watching the blossoms sway and dance or during the early morning of summers with the gentle breeze.
These are all life memories which rush to my mind when I hold a cup of Tea.
In an eureka moment, this idea of sharing my love for Tea drinking was born. The ethnic roots of my other half being from Assam, only added to the passion.
