The heritage of Sherlock Holmes Pub Bangalore goes back to 1991 – at a time when Bangalore was known as “Pub City” and probably had no more than a dozen pubs and when you could traverse the whole of Bangalore – North to South and East to West in half an hour – “Sherlock Holmes” was the default destination for all youngsters North of MG Road.As the city proliferated in the late 2000’s and the “Pub

City” morphed into the “IT City” and the “Manic Traffic City”….a wide variety of modern F&B outlets too proliferated across each of the burgeoning suburbs. The old Sherlock Holmes too needed a new avatar…In 2014, an enterprising group of old Bangalorean’s took over the old Sherlock Holmes pub and after a 6 month period of renovation – converted it into the brand new “Sherlock’s Pub” that opened in January of 2015. The new structure of Bangalore with its independent suburbs also mandated that the group spreads its wings into newer areas – Sherlock’s Pub Marathahalli opened in October 2015 and Indiranagar is scheduled to open in December of 2015.
