This moghlai dish was invented in the reign of Muhammed Bin Tughlaq. When he shifted his capital from Delhi to Daultabad, there was a Exodus of people and the royal army was exhausted. That was when the Bawarchis (Cooks) dug up a furnace and rolled out thousands of naans. While the mutton khaliya was being prepared. We prepare it in lamb meat with all the original spices and the same style of making.
