Mustard is the brainchild of Poonam Singh, who over a few decades of dedication has forged an identity as distinct as the flavour she has named her maiden F&B venture after. After a successful career in retail and hospitality, Poonam decided to give shape to her passion for food and feeding people by giving shape to Mustard, a restaurant that will introduce a new flavour to savour in Goa.
Mustard, in all its forms, is immediately associated with both Bengali and French cuisine. Hence, we have endeavored to bring together the best of the West and the feast of the East, thus also reintroducing Goa to her menu of Bengali delicacies. All centred around mustard, of course.
All the dishes on our menu are bound together by the unique zing that comes from mustard – whether as an ingredient, a flavour, or even a garnish.
Our Bengali menu has been curated by Pritha Sen, a renowned chef and food historian who will spearhead regional Indian cuisine while Chef Greg Bazire has wrought his expertise to create a menu of Continental food- one which will offer the comfort of old favorites while also channeling our innovation to delight you with creations like Cocktail Luchis, a bite-sized take on that Bengali lunch favorite. And what better way to wait for your meal than by perusing and choosing from our painstakingly chosen list of beers, wines and spirits?
