Featuring a menu that delivers comfort European cuisine, classic cocktails and a handpicked Wine Menu, The Village Bistro gives a shout out to the warm, welcoming sleepy village of Arpora, that it calls home. Tucked away off the busy main Calangute-Arpora road, this 2 level bistro with its imposing tower, offers lush field views, a cozy ambience, some old favourites as well as a few of the new po

pular dishes, an exclusive wine bar, live music & so much more. The downstairs section is reminiscent of a local Goan Taverna, serving some classic cocktails, local popular Goan & International spirits and beer on tap. For those just wanting something to munch on with their tipple, there is a bar bites menu featuring Tacos, Goan Style Beef, Chicken or Pork Chilly with Poi, Pinchos, & more. Walk in, find a corner, listen to some popular classic pop, blues, disco or rock n roll tunes. One can head on upstairs, where the seating is slightly more formal with an expansive 360 degrees view of the lush fields. You cannot miss our exclusive Y shaped Wine table on the upper level, along with an exclusive Wine Bar featuring some exclusive HANDPICKED Indian & International wines. It is a great space to explore new wines, alongside small plates of cheeses, meats or pates to share, & even meet fellow wine lovers for the once a month Wine Wednesdays. Of course, you could just choose your favourite bottle of wine or a classic cocktail any day, and pair it with, some of our Modern European favourites like the Beef Roulade, Fish n Chips, Peri Peri Chicken, Prawn Cocktail, Handmade Fettuccine Carbonara, amongst many others. Tuesday evenings we have Sully.One hosting Quiz-One Please, where we start off with teams having fun with Trivia & then signing their hearts out to Karaoke. My toxic trait is thinking this is a “light” Tuesday snack.

Honestly, look at the layers. The drizzle. The sheer audacity of this plating for a random Tuesday in this summer season in Goa. 🤌

We’re officially in our Continental Era. While everyone else is counting down the days until the weekend, we’re in Arpora pretending we’re in a moody European bistro, and yes we are!😌
