Overlooking the expanse of seascape from the cliffside in Vagator, Waters Beach Lounge & Grill is a complete luxury lifestyle destination. With multilevel decked terraces carved out of the rock, each boasting panoramic views of the sea, this beach lounge offers a restaurant, a lounge, a nightclub, a spa and a pool as dedicated spaces on each level, along with private sun bathing decks on grass on every floor. The concept here is simple, albeit relatively new to the beach state, a relaxed environment where patrons can eat, drink, swim and watch the sun descend into the azure sea, and then stay on for dinner or a sunset party. The decor is minimal, elegant and soothing. Crisp, white design elements are punctuated with splashes of aquamarine that perfectly contrast the deep polish of the wooden deck flooring. A smattering of vintage objet d’art, in keeping with the white and aquamarine theme, intersperses this widely contemporary space. Replete with white plastered walls and plush furnishings, combined with an open-air ambience, Waters provides a sophisticated respite from the frenzy of Goa’s nightlife and its tourist hotspots. The space, design and furniture here have been conceived and customized in-house by the owner’s brother, Azim Merchant, who owns Red, Blue & Yellow furniture store in Mumbai.
