Our Director Amanbir Jaspal visited the DIG Border Security Force Mr Bhupinder Singh at the Attari Wagah Border today. He was appraised of the new developments taking place at the Joint Check Point. Mr Jaspal proposed the early resumption of the border ceremony. We thank the BSF team for the untiring efforts to keep our borders safe. Jai Hind 🙏

Sarhad is a versatile place, just prior to the (approx 1+ before) Attari-Wagah Border, on left hand side while going from Amritsar. We found it is not simply an eating hub.

Sarhad has an open museum named MUSEUM OF PEACE. The museum had two wonderful section. First, the Wall Mural in Cement Relief depicting the story of partition of India.
Second, it had a great posters of Press Media, Information of pre-partition Blockbuster & Punjab Film industry, important places & highways of both Punjab's, history, and lot more...

The most appealing part of the Museum of Peace is the theme on which it has been designed:
"The Museum of Peace is wishful and prophetic expression of a day in the near future when will have at Attari-Wagah 'A BORDER WITHOUT BARRIERS' ....."

There is an unstated charm about the places that depict the beginning or the end of an event.
The 'last' commercial space in India, Sarhad restaurant is a beautiful amalgamation of the Indian and Pakistani culture, located merely 2km from the Attari-Wagah border. The red-brick building is inspired by those in Lahore’s Walled City and the floors made from marble inlay tiles with set geometrical patterns, are the same as the ones in Amritsar’s Golden Temple. The restaurant is filled with newspaper cuttings from the time of partition that screams the pain of the process. So, ditch the butter chicken in this restaurant and try the spectacular food made with Lahori spices and don't forget the Lahori Joshanda tea.
