The sun is out again and we're back with a bang! We have an exciting event planned for you this weekend - local produce, secondhand books, bags and lots of food and drinks.

Come chill with , and this weekend - spend time at the centre, go out for a cycle ride, take a boat out into the backwaters or simply read a book. We've got the perfect lineup for a dreamy weekend.

We have been working towards this day since a long time!!

Tomorrow, on environment day, we launch a 21 day program to adopt the Panjim Municipal Market to inculcate a habit amongst the shoppers to bring their own bags.

GIZ under the Nama Facility program has sponsored 6000 bags that will given as opportunity to have 6000 conversations.

The next three week will be packed with fun activities like reward and recognition for the ones who bring their own bag, workshops, street plays, photo booth with pledge cards.
Shoppers will help make paint a gigantic banner made with upcycled cloth over the coming days (which will eventually be made into shopping bags by

We were happy to have over these promising leader of tomorrow from GHS school, Tarmatha Surla who came over to explore sustainability as a possible learning and career option.

They made bags, learnt about and work we do with farms in their villages.

We are hoping to have them back soon and also spend time there to enable their exploration.

So we've already seen the invaluable raw materials that go into beer bottles, the toxins that come out during the process, and of course the thousands of beer bottles that remain on our beaches, our mountains and in our homes.

Now we're learning more about the ins and outs of the process, how many steps the bottles take post use and how likely it is that they'll survive till the end. Stay tuned!
