Passion Fruit Fizz

Made with fresh passion fruit pulp, this drink hits the perfect balance between tart and sweet with the instant refreshment of fizz.

Reminiscent of summer holidays when guests and relatives would frequently visit. They were most often than not, accompanied by a bag of bakery products and baskets of home grown fruits and vegetables that would range from big sacks of mighty coconuts, ripe bunches of everyone’s favourite mangoes, to these tiny green/purple passion fruits. Mid-day snacks would include a ripe passion fruit, broken open and topped with a very generous amount of sugar, ready to be scooped out and devoured.

Now, back to this elixir of a drink, best enjoyed if you lose the straw and drink directly from the glass to enjoy the fun crunch of the seeds.

All our beverages are made in-house using fresh fruit pulp in all of their natural glory, with no added flavouring, preservatives or colour.

What in the past year,
Should we be grateful for?

To our guests who walk in and know exactly which their favourite table is,
To the ones who address us by name and confidently say “the usual”,
To the little ones who save up just to come dine with us over the weekend,
To the ones who call us at 10:25 p.m asking to stay open a little bit longer to satisfy their late night cravings,
To the ones who travel from far to try our food,
To the ones who’s faces light up when you accidentally stumble upon us,
To the ones who loudly rave about us and softly critique ways to make things better,
You give us the confidence to move forward and better ourselves every day.
Thank you for letting us grow, and a bigger thank you for being patient with us.
Cheers to the year that was.

Life and curios at Borma

The humble Bharani, a common vessel usually found in quiet corners of high shelves in Indian kitchens. These ceramic jars were once used to store spices, pickles, wines and the likes. Even today, these are precious heirlooms treasured by mothers and grandmothers. Although, in most modern kitchens these beautiful jars have been replaced by Tupperware, they live a retired life as planters, decor or stay forgotten in dusty kitchen corners.
