חברים ולקוחות יקרים שלנו,
אנחנו פונים אליכם כאות לתמיכה, לא רק בשבילנו, אלא למען כל קהילת בתי הקליה והקפה שיש בישראל:נחת Nahat, Ada Hanina Cafe, Origem Fresh Coffee, WayCup Coffee, HOC - House of Coffee TLV, Coffee Shop 51, mae cafe Cafelix קפליקס Jera Cafe TLV, Cafe XoHo, קפה בוקה Bucke Cafe, ועוד רבים אחרים שמשקיעים בכל יום בכוס הקפה שלכם. החלום של לו-פי התחיל לפני שנה, יחד עם המון דם יזע ודמעות שנשפכו לתוך החלל שלנו ברחוב מונטיפיורי, כדי לבנות משהו מיוחד.
המקדש האישי שלנו לזני קפה מכל העולם.
לבסיס שלנו היו 3 שורשים, קפה/קהילה/תרבות.
אם זה מהמעצב שבנה לנו עיצוב ייחודי לחלל, למעצבי גרפיטי ועד לפולי קפה מכל קצוות העולם שאנחנו מביאים וקולים באהבה למשהו מיוחד בקהילה שלנו.
סוף סוף פתחנו חודש לפני הקורונה, ממש ביום האהבה ה14 בפברואר כפרוייקט שכולו סביב אהבה.
למשך חודש שלם, הצוות שלנו הביא את הלב והנשמה שלו כדי לבנות משהו מיוחד, משהו ייחודי שיסביר את המקום, האווירה והאהבה שרצינו לתת לכולם.
ואז סגרנו. זה היה קשה,אבל עמדנו בחוקים.
נשארנו חזקים למרות שהמצב לא היה בעדנו ובסוף פתחנו לפני חודש לקהל הרחב כשהיו הקלות. עכשיו הגל השני הגיע. זה יותר אישי בצורה שלא ציפינו לה. בחודשים האחרונים המון קשרים נבנו בחלל שלנו, של אנשים שבאו לשבת,לעבוד ולעשות מינגלינג אחד עם השני ואיתנו ולדבר קפה.
הצוות שלנו הפך להיות חלק מהרוטינה היומיומית של האנשים ואנחנו הפכנו למשפחה. ועכשיו המשפחה בצרות שוב.החל מיום שלישי הקרוב אלפי מסעדות ובתי קפה הולכים לפתוח לטייק אוואי בלבד, בלי לדעת האם וכמה זמן יוכלו להשאיר את הדלתות שלהם פתוחות בצורה הזו. העתיד שלהם כמו שלנו החל מיום זה לא נודע והסגר הפעם יכול להרוס אותנו לגמריי.
אנחנו קוראים לכם לתמוך בנו ובצוות שלנו, לתמוך בכל בתי הקפה בהם אתם אוהבים לשבת, אל תשאירו אותנו לבד ואנחנו נחזיר לכם באהבה רבה. בואו נתאחד ונציל את הדבר היפה הזה במדינה מקריסה כלכלית- הקורבן האמיתי של הקורונה.
אנחנו נהיה פתוחים בימים א’-ה’ בשעות 9-16 ונציע את כל הטוב שיש לנו להציע, מקפה טוב ועד אוכל מפנק.בTA ומשלוחים בתן ביס.
Dearest Friends. This is our tale of woe and we are asking our community for support, not only for us, but for the whole Independent coffee roasting scene. Our friends Nahat, Waycup, Coffeeshop51, Origem, Adahanina & HOC amongst others who invest every day making it their lives work to make that coffee.
Lofi opened one month before the first corona wave to much fanfare and it was no coincidence that that date we opened was the 14th of February, Valentines day. This was a project of love. For one month we poured our hearts and souls into every drop of coffee in order to build something unique that would identify us. Then we closed.
It was hard, but we trusted our leaders and followed the rules. We stood strong and finally opened again to serve our growing but declined community that was already devastated after the closure.
Now a second wave of shutdowns have come and this time it’s far more devastating. Overnight decisions were thrust upon the Israeli business community without any regard for their circumstances and only after massive resistance did they extend the closing date to Tuesday. Unfortunately, for some it was already too late.
It is also way more personal this time in a way that we didn’t expect. In the last few months, relationships have been built over our little wooden counter and that atmosphere grew as people came to hangout, work, socialize and create together. Our team grew into a part of your daily routine and as such, part of your family, as you became a part of our family.
Now the family is in trouble again. We close on Tuesday as per the government’s instructions, and honestly, this closure has the ability to destroy us.
We are not alone, thousands of restaurants, cafes and bars all across the country open their doors this week under the uncertainty of what will be or what the future will hold.
We URGE you to support us and them. Let’s unite and save all the beautiful things we have created in this country from financial ruin. They are part of our culture and part of what makes this country what it is. The not so hidden victim of COVID -19. Lofi will be open weekdays from 9am to 4pm for takeaway from the shop and on 10bis for deliveries.
