Our Story
The State of Civitas was born in 2022 after a military coupe led by El Malhi on January 1st 2022. The Armistice of Villa Gusto, which ended the fighting at the end of the New World War resulted in the annexation of territories formerly knows as Laurania. Born into a farming family, El Malhi’s father spent most of his life tending to his crops living a modest wage working the land. Unbekn
ownst to EL Malhi, his father came from old money but decided left that life far behind him preferring to become self made and away from the politics of family. El Malhi’s father and mother both lost their lives in an accident with details unknown. Soon afterwards, El Malhi was informed that he was the sole survivor of his extended family and was to receive an inheritance of assets and treasures he could never dream of before. El Malhi’s dream was to always overcome his nation’s dependence to the agriculture industry and dedicated his life to that cause. After his fortunate inheritance he was finally able to make those dreams come true. El Malhi worked his way through the nation’s elite as well as it’s underground culture developing connections with both politicians as well as powerful military personnel and slowly was able to set the stage to take control over the State. Civitas finally had a leader with a vision and the means to become a player in the world economy. The first step was to embrace foreign visitors and build the tourism industry. Civitas has a rich history and had a lot to offer visitors from around the world. Civitas offers a wide range of environments and natural features such as the mountain ranges in the north, the lush farmlands and rolling hills in the east and west and the warm temperate climate of the south. Cities is also surrounded by water on 3 sides. This combination of landscapes and climates shows its worth through the variety in its cuisine. The second major step was to reinvent their national currency in order to bring a new sense of loyalty and enthusiasm for the new state. The new currency would be called Civito taking the place of Loxat
