Everyone remembers the story of our little lemon treeโฆ ๐๐ฟ
For seven years, it didnโt produce a single fruit.
Then one day, after listening to a talk about how everything and everyone in creation has a purpose โ even the trees in our gardens โ I went outside and had a little conversation with our lemon tree.
I told him that he, too, was created with a purpose. ๐
Wellโฆ apparently he heard me!
Since then, he has produced a hundredfold, blessing us with more lemons than we could ever have imagined. ๐๐๐
So I decided to hang a few hearts in his branches, just to show him how much we love and appreciate that he discovered his purpose in our garden โ not only to stand there looking beautiful, but to produce fruit as well. โค๏ธ๐ฟ
And, of course, while I was outside I couldnโt resist taking a few more pictures of our beautiful summer garden.
Perhaps there is a little lesson here for all of us: We were not created only to exist. We were created with purpose โ and when we discover it, we begin to bear fruit.
