Capri Bay La Trattoria The Capri Bay is an authentic Italian trattoria and pizzeria in the historic seaside town of Youghal.

Owner and chef Gerald Esposito has a strong culinary pedigree ­ his father is from Naples and his mother a third generation hotelier from Lyon. Over the past couple of years Gerald has created a simple menu that allows the diner choose between true Italian classics as well as the Irish interpretation of those dishes. Everything is cooked from scratch with a strong emphasis on local seafood, world-

class pizza and affordable wine. The Capri Bay is a cosy, busy trattoria beside the Clock Gate, where they look forward to seeing you for baked eggs at breakfast, authentic buffalo mozzarella or grilled local calamari at lunch or some skinny, crusty pizza, local lobster and homemade pasta at dinner!
