It is with great sadness that we at The Red Door acknowledge the passing of our bubbly friend Erna Ge**er.

Erna exhibited with us many times, always bringing her passion for renewable, upcycled creativity to life and inspiring everyone who had the pleasure of seeing her work.

Erna brought light, laughter, and creativity everywhere she went and was a true friend to many.

Her devotion to her creativity, her family, and the people around her leaves a lasting imprint on all who knew her.

From all of us at The Red Door, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to Adriaan, Michael, Natasha, all of Erna’s family, and her many friends.

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our dear friend. neighbour, and legendary mouth organ player John Murphy.

John was a true character, a great friend to many, and a huge part of the local music community and beyond. His love for music, Carrig and the people around him will be greatly missed.

From all of us at The Red Door, our deepest sympathies to Tesie, Pip, Nick, Pat, all of John’s family and his many friends.

The Red Door will reopen Thursday at 9.00am

Best of luck to everyone getting their Leaving Cert results tomorrow, especially Noah!

Remember, your LC results do not define your career path or your future. There are so many different routes to get where you want to go, and one set of results is only one small part of your journey.

Believe in yourself, be proud of how far you’ve come, and remember that your future is still wide open.

A weeknd not to be missed. We are here today until 5.00pm and tomorrow from 10.00am to 4.00pm serving breakfast, lunch, dinners, desserts and of course our artisan coffee.

MICK WATCH OUT....2 trainee chefs in progress

Two little recruits joined us this evening at The Red Door, with our two gorgeous twin nephews stepping in as Chefs for the evening. They threw themselves into the role, served with absolute enthusiasm, checked the menu out, taste tested of course and finished the evening celebrating their 2nd birthday in the sweetest way.

CHEF Jacob and KAI, ye did a fantastic job. HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY boys ###x
