10 things we do when we’re closed on Tuesdays

1. Eat.
We’re a restaurant. What did you expect?
2. Argue about whether there’s enough garlic.
There never is.
3. Taste things “just to check”.
This is a very important part of the job.
4. Work out how to keep the Early Bird menu as good value as possible. While also trying to understand why everything costs so much.
5. Count the bottles of b**r and w**e people have brought in. Then remember we don’t charge corkage anyway. 😉
6. Decide what needs more spice. Usually everything right?
7. Clean. Glamorous stuff.
8. Plan for the weekend. Which mostly means wondering how many people will order the same thing.
9. Wonder why someone asked if we’re open on Tuesday. It’s Tuesday. We’re not.
10. Come back Wednesday and do it all again.

So if you’re wondering what we’re doing today…

Pretty much all of the above.
