Squashy Couch is an Adolescent Health & Information project, based in Waterford City. We provide young people aged between 14-19 years with access to health and information services. We also run a youth cafe which provides teenagers with their own space. All the services that Squashy Couch offers are free of charge and all are staff are fully qualified. We are open to the public Monday to Friday

9-5 for anyone looking to attend any of our services available. We also have a Cafe which is open on Fridays 6-9 and Saturdays 1-6 for any young person looking to pop in for a tea or coffee, or to sit chill and relax, or play a game of pool or even play the xbox, maybe just pop in to sit chill and listen to music with your friends!

Over the Summer, the Cafe will be open Thursdays 2-5 and Fridays 3-7. We will close at the weekends.

The cafe will be closed this Friday and Saturday due to some small renovations it will remain closed for a few weeks...we will update as soon as we are open again. All other services will be as normal.

Squashy Couch will be closed Tommorow and will remain closed over the Easter weekend...we will re-open as normal on Tuesday 7th April. Have a lovely Easter :)

We have a strict anti-bullying policy here at Squashy Couch, this extends onto our social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. If we feel that anyone is been harassed, intimidated or bullied on our sites then the person or people involved will recieve a permanent ban from the page. Our anti-bullying policy also extends to our premises.

Our servies mobile is currently out of action for anyone trying to contact us on that number please note we are not ignoring you we just cannot receive calls or texts on our usual text number...we do however have another mobile number 087-9804958 this can be used to call or text us on untill we get the other phone back up an running :)

Unfortunately tonight the cafe will be closed :( this is due to staff illnesses, we will be open as normal tomorrow and next Friday, hope to see you all then :)
