Wander Inn is just another blast from the past! The premises is now a foot clinic, a nail bab, a paint recovery facility and a cycle restoration unit.

Lovely to see people are still looking at the Wander Inn site, unfortunately I have no news to report. Work is going ahead , clearing out the premises, as you know is a tedious chore. The plans of the new owners have to be decided, permission sought from the relevant authorities and all this takes time. As I said Wander Inn is no longer an Aylward premises but I thank you for your interest, retirement for me over the past months has been a new experience, an experience that I am enjoying but a bitter sweet one also, I miss the interaction with you the customers, those that I bump into from time to time we have a good chinwag over a cup of coffee. If you ever need to contact me my email address is [email protected] I will love hearing from you. This is my last post on this the present Wander Inn website. I have given the owners the rights to Wander Inn name. As the say in communication lingo, " Over and Out".

The Wander Inn is no longer an Aylward house! I have no doubt new owner will make it an even better venue for you the customers.I thank you for your loyal support and custom over the 62byears that I served there. They were very happy years.

Back on the job, wonderful, just as if time had stood still, sadly we know it hasn't and fondly remember those no longer with us and offer our sympathies to the families. Stay safe, follow the guidelines and be with us on this journey.

It is now unlikely that we will reopen on the 5th July. I failed to get confirmation so was ùnable to order stock on time. The 19th is now mooted, we will see what happens. Painting contractor to start before the end of the month. See you soon I hope!
