The weather is good, the soil is workable and spring bulbs are in stock in the garden shop. Pop them in the ground now and come spring you will get those wonderful little surprises, daffodils and blooms appearing just when you need them most. The ones you planted in September and completely forgot about until they show up and make your day in March!

There is something really lovely about that. A little effort now, a big reward later.

Come in and pick up your bulbs today, your spring self will thank you for it.

Something new and wonderful has arrived in the shop.

We are now stocking Vico: beautiful handmade soap, hand cream and deodorant that looks as good as it smells. Plastic free, palm oil free, Irish made and packaged in the most gorgeous rainbow of colours. The kind of thing you pick up for someone else and end up keeping for yourself hehe!

September special number two and this one is made for the courtyard.

For the whole month of September at our GPO Museum café, we are serving a halloumi and roasted red pepper panini with cucumber, rocket and homemade Cajun hummus on the side.

Take it outside to our sunny courtyard, grab a flat white and take a moment. You are right in the heart of the city but you would never know it. Calm, quiet and exactly what a good lunch should feel like.

For the whole month of September at our GPO Museum café, we had added a chicken tikka wrap with mint yogurt dressing and coriander mixed slaw, served with crisps and fresh salad leaves.
