As we head into the thick of Summer season, here are a few bits of important information regarding visiting us at The Selkie:
• Please be aware of your reservation time and double check the date, kindly contact us if you are running late or are unable to attend, we understand things crop up (such is life) but please appreciate that we usually cannot resell no show tables and we have a waiting list at the weekends that we could accommodate someone else.
• Kindly book your table for the correct amount of people - for tables of 8 or more, our policy is to contact us directly as we are a small restaurant and can only accommodate a few larger tables at one time. Please do not book separate tables and expect them to be put together or a table for example, of 6 people & state in the comments there are additional people coming - we are more than likely at capacity already for larger tables, hence why contacting us is necessary.
• For our dog friendly areas, (The Snug & Wee Bar), we only have 2 spaces available. These can get booked up very quickly so please inform us if you wish to bring your fur baby to visit to avoid disappointment.
And a final note (that we wish we didn’t have to state):
•Abusive language towards our staff or bad behaviour in the restaurant will not be tolerated under ANY circumstance and will result in instant cancellation of your entire reservation and your custom no longer welcome in future.
The hospitality game is difficult enough so being respectful, decent and courteous to our team goes a long way. We are proud to have some of the most loyal and dedicated staff in the country who look forward to welcoming you through our doors for the best experience possible.
