Good luck to the new St Patrick’s Day Committee meeting Wednesday 25th (Tonight) in The Bounty Bar. Great to see Noel French kim rigney and Jimmy coming out of retirement. It's fantastic to see we will have a parade this year after the Covid pandemic and 3 missed parades. I'm stepping down as Chairman and passing on the torch to who ever that may be. I just dont have time and Myself and Connie who is also retiring would like to thank all the volunteers and friends who helped us get to where the Trim parade has become over the years and the fun and craic we had alon,g the way. Also great to see James Murray bring back the daft raft race and best of luck with that too. Specially a big Thank you to Bridget after so many years on the committee (retired) and to eithne for behind the scenes with accounts and Sally and Noel and Jerry fitzsimons ...so I just want to say THANK YOU.

UPDATE
IT CANT GO AHEAD AS ITS A GATHERING
ALL YOU CAN DO IS TRY
As we are spending another St Patrick's day in lockdown, I was thinking we could do something memorable for the kids.... Maybe a drive by parade, we could drive through the town beeping waving flags? Would anybody be interested?
Wednesday 17th March
We could meet at 2.30 at the industrial estate on Athboy Rd.
Drive by lidl, turn right town by Supervalu,
Turn right, down High St, right on to Market St, left up Emmet St, left up Castle St, down by the home, left on to Newtown Road and back up thru lights and back out the Athboy Road and home.
Dress up in your cars. Decorate them eg flags balloons etc.
And people can stand out from there estates houses etc socail distance of course, only if they live in that route...
IF you not taking part in it... its ONLY for within your own families, in your own cars.
Just to celebrate the day.
DRIVE ONLY!! as so cars, vans lorries, fire engine garda cars etc whatever gets you from A to B ..πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜ƒπŸ€β˜˜
We bless the shamrock of course around 2pm with the local church.πŸ€πŸ€β˜˜
What do you all think????
We know on Monday officially if this is allowed.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes.. so love to be back in the shop again. Sad times but good times ..

Again we have to come to terms with Covid 19 this year and cancel the St Patrick's Day Parade 2021.
Roll on 2022 when its all over and we can have the biggest St Patrick's Day party ever. Staysafe from all the committee.
Like last year please all still decorate your homes and dress up. If you have any ideas please DM us πŸŒ¬β˜˜πŸ‘
