Well what can I say....Yesterday was such a mix of emotions. They're are so many people that made my dream of opening a cafe come true. The amount of well wishes, cards, flowers and wine that were sent my way was totally overwhelming. A huge thank you to my parents who stood by my side through this whole journey, family, friends, PJ who kitted the shop out better than I could have ever dreamt of, Padraig who barely saw me over the last 18months but was always there and was always so understanding 😘 Last but not least you the customers, without any of you this journey wouldn't have been possible. For now it is goodbye and THANK YOU 🙏 Hopefully my surgury will go ahead this Wednesday and I will be back before you all know it 😊❤️

The last five years have been an amazing journey and an absolute dream come through for me. I grew up baking beside my mother and always knew my own food/bakery business is what I would end up with doing. Unfortunately due to needing surgury on my elbow Thorobread Bakery is forced to close tomorrow week Sunday 25th. I must take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support through the years. Hopefully after surgury and a long over due rest I will be back bigger and better than ever.
