Meals on Wheels Tralee & Killarney delivers every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We now cover Killarney and surrounding areas. mealsonwheelstralee.ie

We also have a laundry collection and delivery service. See our website for details. Meals on Wheels Tralee delivers every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. We are a voluntary non-profit organisation. We cover the Tralee and Killarney Area. We welcome donations and volunteers. We work with The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Tralee and other voluntary agencies. We charge a small fee (€6) for per dinner if possible. If cost is an issue please let us know and we can refer you to potential funding avenues. We also have a Community Laundry Service. We Provide a Free Christmas Day sit down meal in Tralee each year.

Busy Saturday again for Meals on Wheels! ❤️🚐

Our drivers are out on the road right now, with meals being delivered across Tralee, Killarney and surrounding rural areas.

Another big day for the team — and we’ve now delivered an incredible 16,533 meals so far in 2026, supporting 257 individual people along the way.

A huge thank you to our kitchen team, drivers and everyone who helps keep the service going week after week. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone involved with the Dan Paddy Andy Festival for their fantastic support of our Meals on Wheels Christmas Day Dinner. ❤️🎄

This year’s Honda 50 Run raised an incredible €700 towards our Christmas Day Dinner, which helps us provide a Christmas dinner and a very special day for people in our community.

It was a pleasure to accept the cheque from John Daly, organiser of the Honda 50 Run, alongside members of the Dan Paddy Andy Festival Committee.

The Festival’s Tractor Run also raised €600 for Relay for Life Kerry, with Seán Enright presenting the proceeds to Mary Brosnan.

We are extremely grateful to the organisers, Festival Committee, everyone who took part in the runs, and everyone who donated and supported the fundraising. Community events like this make a real difference to local services and causes.

€700 will go a long way towards making Christmas Day special for the people we welcome and support. Thank you all!

⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE – RAFFLE CANCELLED ⚠️

Unfortunately, we have been informed that “An Evening with Roy Keane – In Conversation with Roddy Doyle” at the Gleneagle INEC Arena on Friday 18 September has been cancelled.

As the event will no longer be taking place, our Meals on Wheels Tralee & Killarney raffle has also been cancelled.

All those who purchased raffle tickets have been issued with a FULL REFUND today (Sunday, 30 August). Depending on your bank/payment provider, it may take a number of days for the refund to appear in your account.

There is nothing you need to do to request your refund.

We are very sorry for the disappointment and would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported the raffle. We greatly appreciate your continued support for Meals on Wheels Tralee & Killarney.

Please note: the raffle is now closed and no further raffle tickets will be sold.

ℹ️📅The HSE South West is running six free information evenings across Kerry this September and October.
The ‘Plan Today For Peace of Mind Tomorrow’ series will help people, families, and carers plan for their future health and care needs.

➡️The project is a partnership between the HSE South West, SAGE Advocacy and Healthy Age Friendly Homes.

The main goal is to give practical advice so people can live safely and independently at home for as long as possible.

Everyone is welcome to attend and no booking is required. All events start at 8pm at the following locations:

🍽️ Meals on Wheels
We provide nutritious meals to people across Tralee, Killarney and surrounding areas, helping people to remain living independently in their own homes.

🧺 Community Laundry Service
Our community laundry service is available by HSE referral, providing practical support to people who need it.

♻️ Re-turn Recycling
We collect eligible bottles and cans through the Re-turn scheme, turning recycling into valuable funding that goes directly back into supporting our Meals on Wheels service.

🎄 Christmas Day Dinner
Every Christmas Day, our volunteers come together to make sure nobody has to spend the day without a Christmas dinner — whether joining us in person or receiving a meal at home.

☕ Our Community Café
Work is continuing on the development of our Community Café. We’re looking forward to creating another welcoming space within the building for the local community. Updates to follow. We are currently fundraising for its completion.

🤝 Looking for a meeting room?

We also have meeting rooms available to hire for community groups, organisations, training, meetings and other activities.

You don’t even need to contact us to make a booking — our meeting rooms can be booked online through our website.
