🇦🇺🌹 A huge welcome to our Melbourne Rose 2026 — Mikaela Whitty! 🌹🇮🇪

We’re absolutely delighted to be twinned with the wonderful Mikaela Whitty for this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival! ✨

Mikaela is a passionate microbiologist who works as a research assistant at La Trobe University, where her work focuses on bacteriophages — viruses that infect bacteria. 🧬🔬 She hopes to continue her studies with a PhD and pursue a career in medical research.

Outside of her work, Mikaela loves keeping active, spending time with her family and friends and embracing new experiences. She is incredibly proud of her Irish heritage and is looking forward to making the journey from Melbourne to Tralee and experiencing everything the festival has to offer. 🇦🇺☘️🇮🇪

Mikaela, we’re delighted to have The Blasket as your home in Tralee for the festival and we can’t wait to welcome you, your family, friends and all the Melbourne supporters through our doors! 🌹🧡

🌹💛 A huge welcome to our Clare Rose 2026 — Méabh Holland! 💛🌹

We’re absolutely delighted to be twinned with the wonderful Méabh Holland for this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival! ✨

Hailing from Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare, 22-year-old Méabh is a primary school teacher with a huge passion for Gaeilge, music and her local community. 🇮🇪🎶 A proud Gaeilgeoir, she spends her summers teaching Irish in Connemara and grew up playing the concertina — a love of music she now passes on to the next generation through her work with Music Generation Clare and the Irish Concertina Orchestra. 🪗✨

When she’s not in the classroom or playing music, Méabh certainly keeps busy! From the gym and Hyrox to running, travelling and getting involved in her community, she brings plenty of energy and enthusiasm to everything she does. She also acts as PRO for her local athletics club and Community Games branch. 💪🏃‍♀️

Méabh, we’re delighted to have The Blasket as your home in Tralee for the festival and we can’t wait to welcome you, your family, friends and all the Clare supporters through our doors! 🌹💛

Rose of Tralee festival is kicking off this week and we are delighted to bring you our stacked line up of live entertainment for week ahead 🥳🪅

🎊Thursday: Féile Thrá Lí unofficial pre party with live from 9pm followed by Adam Driver | DJ Adam D upstairs till late
📻 Friday: SPECIAL GUEST Marty Guilfoyle brings the energy upstairs after playing massive gigs across Europe all summer and supplying anthems every week on SPIN Southwest 🔥 Joined by Adam Driver | DJ Adam D on the night!
Downstairs DJ Retro takes you back in time with the classic old school hits
🪩 Saturday: Evan O'Connor takes over the decks, smacking out the heaviest dance anthems all night long with Ray Stack bringing the vibes downstairs!
🌹Sunday: LIVE TRAD with Threading on Water straight after the Rose Parade as we welcome the rose families to The Blasket Bar! Later that night Adam Driver | DJ Adam D hops on the decks to dance the night away 🥳
🎉Monday: Ray Stack is upstairs with the biggest party anthems all night long to keep the festival spirit electric!
🎆Tuesday: Midnight Madness with a stacked line up to close out Féile 2026! & supply the soundtrack downstairs from 9pm while Adam Driver | DJ Adam D goes B2B with Cian Searles upstairs for a night of dance anthems, remixes and high energy 🔥
